Lo sturalavandini Maelstrom è stato presentato fra i progetti della mostra “Design alla Coop” nell’aprile 2005 ed è entrato in produzione dopo due anni per la grande distribuzione. La qualità del materiale della ventosa, più morbido rispetto allo standard in commercio, riduce la forza necessaria alla compressione dell’aria e permette un utilizzo agevole. Avvitata alla sommità dell’impugnatura e nascosta al suo interno si trova una pinza lunga e sottile per recuperare piccole cose che potrebbero ostruire il passaggio dell’acqua. Nella maggior parte dei casi non è necessario l’utilizzo di prodotti corrosivi per liberare i sanitari; lo sturalavandini e la sua pinza insieme sono lo strumento idoneo a risolvere il problema.

The sturalavandini Maelstrom was introduced between the projects of the exhibition “Design alla Coop”,  April 2005 and after two years its production started for the large retailers, as planned. The type of plunger material, softer regarding the available in the shops, reduces the necessary strain to pushing the air and facilitate its use. Screwed to the top of the handle and hidden inside, a long and thin plier is accomodated in order to grasp small things that could obstruct the flowing water. The most part of the cases don’t need the use of corrosive products in order to free the sink; sturalavandini and its plier is one suitable tool to resolve the problem.
